This monk with beer keg cartoon character design was created for a priest who ran a youth ministries program for his church.
He needed a cartoon character illustration for a program he was hosting, "Theology On Tap", which was a social mixer for the people in his program.
The client wanted a character and illustration to reflect the fun and casual nature of the event. Not only was he extremely pleased with the final artwork, but also went on to hire me to create variations on the theme for other events they held, such as skiing trips, river rafting vacations, and the like.
