"Basket Case" disc golfer cartoon illustration
This Odd Rods / "Big Daddy" Roth style disc golfer (or frisbee golf or even "frolf" to some of you out there) is a fun personal project I created mixing my love of disc golf and the wild hot-rod creatures popularized by Odd Rods and Roth.
For those of you not familiar, in disc golf one's goal is to get the disc/frisbee into a metal basket, hence the pun "Basket Case".
Disc golf is a blast, and there are courses all over the country — most of them free to play. Give it a try, it's great for any age player as long as you can toss a Frisbee. It's tougher than it looks!
