This sunken pirate ship illustration was created as a background element for an animated video game created to help kids learn how to type in a fun way.
The client contacted me to create some additional illustrations for the new "bonus levels" they were creating for the game. the original artist was unavailable for some reason. I was required to match the existing look of the game illustrations, but seeing as how this was a whole new level, the client was flexible in allowing me to add some of my own style to the art.
I also created another background illustration for the video game, the "Atlantis" underwater ruins art seen below:
