Cartoon logo of a geek/nerd robot created out of parts of actual fiber optic hardware. The client is a supplier of and consultant for fiber optic parts and technology. He wanted a logo that reflected the technical, geeky nature of the business, but also wanted something that was a bit more fun as most of his competitors have very dry, boring, lifeless brand identities. Not only did he want to stand out from the crowd, he wanted the logo to reflect his easy-going personality to clients as well.

Building the robot out of actual fiber optic hardware parts is a great example of the ideal cartoon logo approach: it incorporates elements unique and specific to your business into something recognizable. This makes the character and logo absolutely unique and memorable.
