A selection of illustrations featuring a cartoon cow character from a recent book illustration project. Believe it or not, the book is a retirement planning book. The author was looking to create a financial planning guide that wasn’t dry and dull, and thought a cartoon character and cartoon illustrations might liven things up a bit.

Active Bomb Sweeper is an iPhone puzzle game app developed and coded by Zeologic, for which I created the character design, illustrations and overall game design.

This cartoon logo was created for a pet sitting company in Hawaii, and the client wanted a surfer girl riding a wave, as well as some pets joining her on the surfboard.
Here are some fun cartoon-style building illustrations I created for SocialCirql.com, a new social media services site created by the guys over at Akron, Ohio marketing and design firm Red Incorporated.
Great project, fun clients and very happy with the final artwork.


If you haven’t noticed, I’ve done a complete overhaul to my website as well as moving everything over to the CoghillCartooning.com domain. Designed by me, coded by my patient friend John “CJ” Wallace (@vagrantrevival).

In a sense, this new website reflects a milestone for me. More on that later. For now, I want to share some of the background behind the process.
