Cartoon logo artwork created for Dallas Cowboy football team fan website Cowboys Hound.

This logo design went through a bit of an evolution as we settled on the final concept. The client’s website feature a historical look at the Dallas Cowboys, and initially wanted the character to reflect this. As we worked through the sketches, the client decided to have the dog character look more like a typical football fan in the easy chair on Sunday afternoon. The research aspect was relegated to the small pile of books on the side and the open book and notepad with pencil in front.

I preferred the big foam cowboy hat and the football and football helmet in the artwork, but the client decided to take another direction.
