Cartoon logo artwork for pet waste removal service Napa Pile Control. The client was looking for a “security guard” looking dog (hence the “patrol” in the company name). I worked up a few sketches but the basic character was maintained from the initial sketch.

The full character was created so the client could use it for other branding purposes, and for the final logo design the character was copped to make a more compact and unified logo design.

I aimed for a logo design that had an echo of a police badge or emblem, and the client wanted a tagline so the banner on the bottom worked nicely. the tagline was something I came up with. Client loved the final art.

Sketches were created in Adobe Photoshop CS6 using a Wacom Intuos4 tablet, final vector art created in Adobe Illustrator CS6.
